Ian McKellen is one of the most versatile actors I have seen in the movies. I of course loved him as Gandalf in Lord of the Rings which also by the way is one of my favorite series.
Mr McKellen is also a brave man who asserts himself in who he is and does not apologize. I remember I saw him on television in the Oscars with his young lover at the time holding hands in front of the camera. Touche!
